Much corruption has flowed from the improper use of public funds. This is, by the way, the most natural and common form of corruption. The treasury should be guarded with all diligence. Above all other needful tasks, this one is the most likely, I suppose, to get pushback from the public, as many millions of people are “on the take” in one way or another.
GOALS
- Charity is the proper work of individuals and charitable organizations, and not of government. As the American public is, at this time, not interested in overseeing its government with enough diligence to guard it from corruption, a great deal of the current corruption will be cut off by cutting out the business of granting charity from the public treasury.
- There shall be no “welfare” nor “WIC” nor “SNAP” nor anything of the sort executed by the Federal Government. Yes, that will disappoint many who have become accustomed to it, but what choice do we have? Any individuals upset with “cutting off” support to these people may freely give out of his or her own pocket as much as he or she may give.
- There shall be no “foreign aid” nor anything of the sort, except by the 3/4 consent of both houses of Congress, as approved of by the President, and never shall such support approved as an ongoing disbursement, but may only be for specific purposes and times.
- Education of the public is not properly the concern of the Federal Government, but is a matter for the State Governments. No Federal expenditure shall be made for this purpose. Nor shall there be any Federal mandates made of the states regarding education.
- No grant shall issue from the Federal Government for any purpose of research or development or education, whether to corporations, states, or individuals.
